This show is a profound journey through the eyes of someone living with MS. Built on a compelling concept that captures the reality of the condition, Romero’s performance reveals how MS can fundamentally shift the life of a passionate woman. She guides the audience through an airplane adventure, and utilizes comedic mockery to great effect. I enjoyed the performance and the direction felt intentional and focused. While the show features soul-crushing moments, Romero’s more cherishable, uplifting segments balance them out, making for a great evening of theatre.
The narrative journey occasionally felt predictable, with certain moments seeming a bit far-fetched. Fortunately, flashes of whimsical fun and sharp comedy redeem these instances. Ultimately, the production serves its purpose by offering inspiration to those living with MS and insight to those curious about it. I give this show a "hopeful and inspirational" recommendation.
Although this was an inspiring show, its purpose wasn't to inspire; it was to live through daily life, and help the audience realize that people with MS aren't that different from the rest of us. The storytelling was humorous and made everyone laugh. This wasn't just an ordinary demonstration; it was a show of good intentions and a plea to be seen as a human being, not a prop in the modern world. I believe everyone needs to see this for that sole reason. Review By Matthew D. Foster
