The Night Light Of The Soul

Leah Guy's solo show, The Night Light of the Soul, is a heartfelt exploration of peace, healing, and spiritual awakening. Based on her actual experiences, Guy tells her story of a spiritual teacher who believed she had life all figured out, until she bought a haunted 200-year-old house.

Set during the pandemic lockdown, the haunting becomes a catalyst for Guy to confront the memories that truly haunt her: trauma, loss, and the anxiety that kept her from living fully. Guy places herself at the center of this message, blending vulnerability, humor, and insight into a performance that feels both personal and universal. Her writing flows with warmth and wit, sprinkling moments of spirituality and eerie reflection throughout, and ultimately healing. Her show heals and provides confidence that the Universe form is, as she says, "the power within us."

Supported by simple yet effective sound and lighting, The Night Light of the Soul weaves theatrical craft with emotional honesty. The result feels part confession, part guided meditation. Not every message will land the same for each viewer, but Guy's sincerity and courage give the piece power.

By the end, I felt both healed and encouraged. My time spent in the chair was well worth the journey she led us on. Through facing her literal and emotional ghosts, Leah Guy finds light, peace, and restoration; in doing so, she helps her audience find some of the same.
